Deloitte Legal Entity Management & Governance team is looking for an Analyst to join our growing team to help deliver our innovative global outsource corporate secretarial compliance solutions to our clients.
Our clients want us to help them develop and implement best practice corporate governance principles and help them cope with increasing regulatory compliance, the administration of large amounts of corporate data, and the digitization of that data.
- 1-2 years of experience working in professional services and being client-facing;
- Experience working on multi-jurisdictional projects as a company secretary or part of compliance and governance teams is an advantage;
- Law graduate with a specialism in corporate and company law;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluent in English, written and spoken;
- Process-driven, with an understanding of the importance of procedures and corporate record keeping;
- An organized, proactive individual who takes ownership and drives tasks through to completion.
As an Analyst, you will manage portfolios of global clients and demonstrate an excellent understanding of their entities and compliance requirements. You will be instrumental in delivering our global annual compliance and additional corporate secretarial services. You will develop strong relationships with your clients and our global network of Deloitte entities to ensure a cohesive and efficient delivery of international corporate secretarial services.
- Supporting the delivery of large global compliance engagements and working with local Deloitte Legal teams to implement delivery;
- Staying up-to-date on the fiduciary, regulatory and statutory responsibilities of legal entities, their directors, officers and managers and sharing advice with clients on such matters;
- Actively managing the day-to-day handling of a portfolio of global clients and coordinating the delivery of the annual compliance and any additional company secretarial services;
- Updating the corporate records to support relevant transactions, filings, reports, and audits to fulfil these responsibilities;
- Updating the client portal to ensure all compliance requirements are tracked and completed in good time;
- Obtaining and interpreting advice on the corporate entity lifecycle and the ongoing compliance with local legislation and restructuring of global businesses, and sharing this information with central client contacts based in other jurisdictions;
- Providing general company secretarial support as required;
- Assisting in Corporate Governance projects as needed.
