Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting large enterprise IT solutions
  • 2+ Experience in containerization and management tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
  • Experience with cloud automation and scripting (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with development on Azure or AWS
  • 2+ years of RedHat or Ubuntu or Centos system administration experience
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification or equivalent coursework
  • Experience with declarative management tools such as Helm or Kustomize
  • English – advanced level, both written and spoken
  • Analytical and problem solving ability
  • Collaboration and team-oriented work philosophy
  • Open minded, opened to learn and share knowledge
Your future role
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and support to engineering teams on Kubernetes adoption and usage
  • Adopt and determine reference architectures and implementations using Kubernetes
  • Solve complex technical issues involving multiple technology stacks
  • Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure optimal configuration of Kubernetes clusters for security best practices
  • Build automation to dynamically scale clusters and software services when needed
  • Support multiple large scale Kubernetes clusters supporting 100s of pods
  • Setting proper benchmarks for standard pod resource limits (memory limits, CPU limits, QoS values)
  • Advise on potential alternatives to current practices, particularly in deployment and monitoring
  • Proactively identify and respond to events impacting IT systems and applications
  • Cooperate with Incident Management during high and critical events
  • Implement IT system changes
  • Provide high quality support to other technical IT teams within Deloitte Central Europe Business Services Center
  • Prepare guides and documentation
  • Cooperate with Deloitte Central Europe Business Services Center leaders and global IT teams.
