Who we are looking for


We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Capital Markets Leader to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales process by demonstrating the value of the capital markets platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in capital markets, functional knowledge of the Murex or any other similar solutions, and the ability to articulate its advantages over competitive platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to support the sales team by engaging with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that meet business objectives for financial sector.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Capital Markets Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of capital markets, including financial products, trading lifecycle, and risk management practices.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders from trading, risk, operations, and treasury departments at financial institutions.

  • Competitive Solutions Understanding:
- Familiarity with competing platforms (e.g., Calypso, OpenLink, Finastra) and the ability to position Murex as a superior solution based on its features, flexibility, and innovation.

  • Pre-Sales & Client Engagement:
- Proven experience in pre-sales or solution consulting, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored demonstrations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a pre-sales role for Murex or a similar platform.
  • Murex Expertise:
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of the Murex or similiar platform, with experience across modules such as Trading, Risk, Operations, and Treasury.
- Experience configuring and implementing Murex or similar solutions for different financial instruments (FX, derivatives, equities, fixed income, commodities).


Your future role
  • Client Engagement & Needs Assessment:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their specific business needs, challenges, and pain points across front-to-back office processes.
- Conduct discovery sessions and gather requirements related to trading, risk management, treasury, and settlement operations.

  • Solution Presentation & Demonstration:
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase the features and benefits of the Murex platform, including its capabilities in trading, risk management, P&L, and regulatory compliance.
- Create tailored presentations and demos that highlight how Murex addresses client-specific business and technical requirements.
- Use your deep understanding of capital markets to articulate Murex’s alignment with current industry trends and evolving market demands.

  • Competitive Analysis & Positioning:
- Compare and position Murex against competitive solutions, such as Calypso, OpenLink, Finastra, and others. Articulate Murex’s advantages in terms of scalability, flexibility, risk management, and integration capabilities.
- Provide insights on how Murex differentiates itself in areas such as pricing, product coverage, regulatory compliance, and workflow automation.

  • Solution Design & Advisory:
- Work with the client and internal teams to design a solution architecture that aligns with the client’s needs, leveraging Murex modules across trading, risk, operations, and treasury.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.

  • Support Sales Process:
- Assist the sales team in preparing RFP/RFI responses by providing technical and functional expertise.
- Attend client meetings, workshops, and conferences to present Murex’s offerings and address any technical questions or concerns.
- Support the sales cycle from lead qualification through to deal closure by demonstrating how Murex can solve business challenges.

  • Market & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with trends in capital markets, including financial instruments, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI.
- Use this knowledge to build credibility with clients and tailor the Murex solution to their strategic goals.
