  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of professional work experience as part of a technology and/or consulting company with at least 1 year of customer-facing experience.
  • Strong IAM domain knowledge with best practices, concepts, technologies, and both theory and practical implementation experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with SailPoint solutions (IdentityIQ), concepts and features.
  • Experience with Sailpoint IdentityIQ implementation, administration, and operations.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and use case development.
  • Experience installing and setting up software on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Knowledge of installing and setting up one or more application servers such as: Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss, and WebSphere.
  • Knowledge of installing and setting up one or more Relational Databases such as: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL.
  • Experience with enterprise directories such as Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP.
  • Familiarity with networking principles: SSL/TLS/HTTPS, Certificate Management, Basic TCP/IP troubleshooting.
  • Experience reading and writing any of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Experience writing and executing automation tasks such as PowerShell, ShellScripting.
  • Develop technical project plans and aid in project resourcing.
  • Develop and execute test cases and test plans for SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization comprehensively (i.e. translate and present technical information to business).
  • Develop or contribute to technical project plans with regular tracking and reporting.
Your future role
Identity Management Consultants begin their careers at Deloitte Risk Advisory with product training, where they can leverage their experience and hands-on expertise to gain a deep understanding of Identity Management solutions, and most importantly Sailpoint IdentityIQ. Within a month or two, they begin working on Identity Management projects to establish connectivity to customer environments, continuing to learn about SailPoint IdentityIQ project delivery methodology and best practices. Shortly after, the Consultant will be working on implementing solutions on small to medium-sized implementation projects under the guidance of more experienced project team members but will start to operate independently to guide their customers on best practices. At the end of the first six months, Consultants will be working on projects ranging from small to large with varying complexity. They will continue to work under the guidance of a Subject Matter Expert and/or Solution Architect, but will largely operate independently, providing best practices to customers through working sessions and troubleshooting. Additionally, Consultants will be able to mentor Analysts and Associate Consultants, being an example of how to perform their jobs at the highest level.

  • Gathering requirements, developing build map rules, LCM Events, and workflows.
  • Install, customize, configure, and support identity provisioning and governance tools.
  • Performing installation and configuration of SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Work with customers on the installation, integration, and deployment of SailPoint IdentityIQ solution.
  • Configure SailPoint IdentityIQ solution as defined by Solution Architect and begin to contribute to solution definition.
  • Involvement in the SailPoint IdentityIQ upgrade with patching and release testing.
  • Developing IAM processes using SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Aggregating and provisioning objects using various Sailpoint OOTB and Custom Connectors.
  • Participation in projects that include project resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Install, customize, configure, and support identity provisioning and governance tools.
  • Implement the new code into UAT and Production for system development lifecycle processes.
  • Monitors delivery against SLAs and addresses exceptions to management.
  • Manage source code and builds for compliance reporting.
  • Champion problem management best practices, drive root cause resolution & reduce future incidents.
  • Identify risks and issues and develop recommendations that address significant risks and complex issues.
  • Develop technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and test scripts.
  • Communicate to clients and partners aspects of both the solution and the implementation at the technical and functional level.
  • Deliver technical training designed to enable and educate SailPoint customers and implementation partners.
  • Build rules for customers and evaluate rules built by customers.
