Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related fields. 
  • 1+ years of experience in tax, payroll, or another relevant area. 
  • Interest in personal taxation, international mobility, social security and cross-border employment matters. 
  • Strong relationship-building and client-service skills. 
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities and willingness to work with different and sometimes unusual situations.  
  • Proactive approach, curiosity and willingness to learn. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.  
  • Excellent Lithuanian and English skills, both written and spoken.

 


Your future role
As a Tax Consultant in our Global Employer Services (GES) team, you'll work with both Lithuanian and international clients on personal taxation, global mobility and cross-border employment matters. You'll support companies and their employees throughout different stages of international assignments while developing your technical, client management and advisory skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising companies and individuals on Lithuanian personal income tax, social security and cross-border employment matters.
  • Supporting international assignments and other global mobility cases for employees working to and from Lithuania.
  • Preparing personal income tax calculations and tax returns and supporting clients with other tax compliance obligations.
  • Researching tax legislation and assisting with practical solutions for complex or unusual individual tax and mobility cases.
  • Communicating with clients, employees, Lithuanian authorities and Deloitte colleagues across different countries.
  • Managing ongoing client work, coordinating deadlines and gradually taking ownership of client relationships and more complex advisory assignments.

Salary: EUR 1200 gross/month – 2500 gross/month
Final offer depending on experience, skills, and alignment with internal compensation structure.
