Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
  • 3+ years experience in working with MS SQL Server as database administrator;
  • Strong technical skills in: MS SQL;
  • Previous experience in coordinating complex tasks and small projects end to end;
  • Highly motivated for self-development;
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

  • Technical skills in the other databases like: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle;
  • Knowledge about Microsoft Azure PaaS services related with MS SQL Services and any other.
Your future role
  • Installing, upgrading and maintaining SQL Servers;
  • SQL server performance tuning;
  • Providing 2nd level support for the DB layer;
  • Acting as technical lead during projects and incident resolutions;
  • Collaborating with Applications Teams, Operations Teams, Solution Architects, 1st level support teams and external vendors during issue resolutions, system changes or new system implementations;
  • Working closely with business and project teams to introduce new systems and perform system changes.

About the team
As a member of our Regional IT Application support team, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading and maintaining our enterprise applications and internally developed custom applications. The Senior IT Application Administrator works closely with other IT teams and the different business teams to provide high quality application support across Deloitte Central Europe.
