Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to join our international AI & Data team. 

✔ Do you want to build data platforms and analytical solutions in GCP? 
✔ Are you enthusiastic about cloud and data in general? 

Our team provides both external and internal clients with big data analytics, advanced analytics, integrations, machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. We help our clients to make the most from their data. We also develop and deploy our own cloud-based products.

What we expect from you? 🎯
  • 3+ years of working experience with GCP
  • Related certificates are advantage (e.g. Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Data Engineer)
  • Hands-on with Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions and Dataproc
  • ETL experience with GCP DataFlow and Apache NiFi
  • Solid data transformation experience with SQL and Python
  • Orchestration with Google Cloud Composer and/or Apache Airflow
  • Google Cloud Build and/or Terraform experience
  • Highly motivated for self-development and desire to explore new things.
  • Good team player and ready to take challenges
  • English to an excellent level - you will use it every day (German will be considered plus)
  • EU passport - you may have business trips within the EU
Your future role
  • Developing and implementing innovative data platforms for our customers with the latest GCP services
  • Supporting our customers with their digital transformation journey, from creating data strategy concepts to architecting and implementing specific use cases. 
  • Developing high-available data platforms on multi or hybrid cloud infrastructures with complex and distributed data pipelines.
  • Creating and updating projects related documentation and diagrams.
  • Working with clients, internal teams, and vendors on a wide variety of projects.
  • Coaching junior team members and training them professionally, technically, and personally.
  • Acting as subject matter expert in your domain and leading technical project deliveries.
