Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

We’re hiring a Head of  Delivery to scale execution across multiple product areas and programs. You will define the operating model, set high bars for quality and predictability, develop delivery leaders, and ensure outcomes at Big-Tech pace with enterprise-grade reliability. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering leadership to sequence bets, balance capacity vs. ambition, and turn strategy into shipped, measurable value.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years leading multi-team software delivery; 3+ years of people leadership across Delivery/TPM/Program roles.
  • Track record of shipping mission-critical platforms under tight timelines and evolving scope.
  • Mastery of portfolio management and RAID/OKR practices; comfort owning budgets, vendor performance, and commercial levers.
  • Deep command of delivery and reliability metrics (flow/DORA, stability, SLOs) and using them to drive predictability.
  • Executive presence with excellent facilitation, negotiation, and crisis-management skills.
  • Hands-on with Jira/Confluence at scale, plus Excel/BI (dashboards for status, risk, and forecasts); strong narrative/reporting skills (exec decks).
  • Experience in international, cross-functional environments and with external partners/vendors.
  • English C1+; ability to travel up to ~20% for leadership workshops, planning, and program checkpoints.

Your future role

  • Design and run the delivery framework: cadences, portfolio governance, quality gates, and release management (including change/incident readiness).
  • Establish portfolio visibility: OKRs, throughput/flow, DORA and stability metrics, burn and forecast, risk heatmaps, and early-warning signals.
  • Build predictive delivery: establish estimation standards, scenario planning, and forecasting (incl. Monte Carlo / capacity models).
  • Orchestrate cross-program dependencies, budgets, and vendor/partner coordination; manage multi-team critical paths.
  • Drive reliability at scale: define SLAs/SLOs and error budgets with Engineering/SRE; align release trains with platform readiness.
  • Institutionalize RAID discipline and decision logs; ensure fast escalation paths and crisp trade-off calls.
  • Lead, grow, and performance-manage a team of Delivery Leads/Managers; own hiring, coaching, career paths, and competency frameworks.
  • Partner with Product/Engineering on sequencing, scope, and investment; align quarterly plans to OKRs and cost-of-delay.
  • Raise the bar on tooling and data quality (Jira/Confluence at scale, BI dashboards); automate status, forecasts, and executive reporting.
  • Champion compliance, privacy, and security by design; ensure audits and governance requirements are met without slowing flow.
  • Represent delivery in executive and client forums with decision-ready insights; communicate risk, options, and recommendations.
