Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a dedicated IT Systems Engineer Storage (m/f/d) with a focus on NetApp systems and basic knowledge in the area of SAN and NAS. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, adapting, and further developing the existing storage systems and related components. 

This includes:
  • NetApp Cluster;
  • Connection via FC;
  • Connection via IP networks;
  • Brocade SAN switches;
  • Active IQ Unified Manager.

Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of NetApp systems;
  • Basic knowledge in SAN and IP networks;
  • Knowledge of PowerShell;
  • Experience in dealing with Windows server operating systems;
  • ITIL knowledge and experience with IT service management processes;
  • Structured and solution-oriented working method;
  • High quality of documentation.
Your future role
  • Support of the NetApp cluster environments;
  • Capacity monitoring of existing storage systems;
  • Setup and provision of new storage systems;
  • Setup and provision of new storage areas in existing systems;
  • Support of the existing SAN infrastructure;
  • Basic administration of virtual administration servers on VM Ware and Azure;
  • Creation of structured documentation;
  • Application of ITIL processes in the area of incident and problem management.
