Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

Deloitte Finance team is looking for an Independent Accountant to ensure the correctness of financial processes.

To be considered for this role you should have an experience in finance-related position, great analytical skills and be pro-active. It is a perfect job for you if you have highly developed skills in communication with business in English.

Our requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in General Ledger, accounting practice, audit;
  • Major/Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance, or other field accompanied by appropriate accounting trainings and relevant;
  • Knowledge of Polish accounting rules is an advantage;
  • Knowledge and understanding of accountancy and financial processes;
  • Good command of written and spoken English is essential;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage;
  • Advanced Excel user, ability to analyze large volumes of data (functions Pivot tables etc.);
  • Experience in audit process, financial statements preparation would be an advantage;
  • Professional behavior, strong communication skills and orientation on internal client;
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various seniority levels;
  • Organized, self-motivated with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under time pressure to tight deadlines;
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, identify and propose process improvements;
  • Positive, ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Ability to work independently, under minimum supervision.

Your future role
  • Ensuring general ledgers and subsidiary accounts for multiple entities are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards;
  • Posting and releasing accruals and prepayments;
  • Asset accounting, depreciation posting, revaluation;
  • Preparation and recording of journal entries;
  • Preparation of PIT/CIT/VAT reports;
  • Preparation of consolidation packages;
  • Dealing with auditors’ queries, data preparation.
