Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
  • 4-5 years of experience working in an international law firm or in-house in international companies, providing legal advice to international clients;
  • significant experience in the areas of due diligence exercises, contract review, contract management, negotiations and document review;
  • strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law and transactions support/preparation work;
  • knowledge of other legal expertise areas, such as real estate, financial, IT/IP, and data protection, will be treated as an added advantage;
  • excellent command of English, both written and spoken; French, German, Spanish, Italian are a plus;
  • efficiency-driven, with a focus on improving the legal process and ensuring the agreed scope of work is properly and timely delivered;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of organizational structure in multi-national and multi-cultural corporations;
  • result-driven and oriented person with meticulous attention to detail;
  • excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to work efficiently and to a high quality within high performance standards; 
  • willing to embrace new challenges and being a team player.
Your future role
  • Providing high quality, pragmatic, clear and commercially focused legal advice on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters and solutions to various legal queries and identification and implementation of appropriate legal solutions in the above types of projects context;
  • drafting, review, negotiations in a wide range of contracts and documents review, contracts negotiations and management, other projects and due diligence exercises, in an international context;
  • using technology solutions to drive efficiencies into the drafting and review process;
  • ensuring the effective and efficient performance of work in compliance with service levels and key performance indicators;
  • assisting less experienced team members with appropriate support (including review, quality assurance or control, maintenance and facilitation);
  • assisting with building and development of checklists, playbooks, templates, issues & recommendations templates, know-how, guidelines and training materials and promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
  • delivering and enhancing an efficient, high-quality legal managed service;
  • working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution;
  • cooperating with teams from various service lines (e.g., tax, accounting, advisory, IT) within the Deloitte network;
  • keeping internal and client relationships - liaising with the clients to agree on the key areas and ways of working, providing constant updates of the work provided, keep track of invoicing the work delivered.
