Your skillset:

  • Degree in economics, business information technology, or other related;
  • Profound professional experience in the area of Business Development or Corporate Finance (e.g. at an investment bank, a credit institution or a consulting/advisory company);
  • Ideally, specific expertise in individual industrial sectors;
  • Committed team player who can work independently, has strong communication skills, has initial leadership experience;
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Very strong written and spoken English skills;
  • Proficiency in German skills is considered an asset.
Your future role
As Manager in Clients & Industries Origination, you are a part of a team that advises all types of clients (Private Equity, Corporations etc.) on M&A market opportunities and supports to connect them with the required expertise within Deloitte. This role has a definite contract with a 1-year tenure.

 
  • Offers | In this role you develop and maintain a M&A opportunities pipeline for the DACH region. To develop this pipeline, you are in close coordination with cross business and border sector, investor and origination leaders/teams as well as external contacts. In addition, you define which DACH M&A opportunities should be in focus for business development activities and lead the business development process.
  • Management | You manage an outsourced team which focuses on different market sectors and are in constant contact with leaders across Germany as well as globally.
  • Analysis and Implementation | In addition to efficient project management for various concurrent business, development activities, market knowledge and analysis are key drivers for this position.
  • Contact person | You are the main contact person for all Origination business development activities for the German Financial Advisory organization and have significant contact with origination and business development team across the Deloitte network.
  • Innovation | You will also represent your area in the development of an innovative origination tool and will be leading a range of differing origination initiatives.
