Who we are looking for

In V&M we help our clients in making some of their most important decisions using bespoke financial models and analytical tools. If you are willing to lead interesting V&M and restructuring projects in various industries this is a perfect job for you.
Our perfect candidate should have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the area of valuation, financial modelling and/or restructuring , (or 1-4 years of experience on similar position in the area of valuation, financial modelling and/or restructuring),
  • Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, or another STEM field,
  • CFA/ACCA/CIMA Certification completed or in process,
  • Solid knowledge of valuation methods (DCF and multiples), financial statements analysis and accounting principles (IFRS),
  • Strong mathematical, database, and advanced programing skills related to power system models, ability to learn technical topics quickly,
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and team members,
  • Ability to manage expectations of a client (both internal and external),
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients,
  • In-depth knowledge of industry/marketplace trends and leading business practices,
  • Business acumen, holistic approach to project delivery,
  • A strong command of spoken and written English and Polish,
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office based tools in particular MS Excel,
  • Exposure to one or more data analysis packages or databases, e.g. Python, VBA, SQL,
  • Excellent analytical skills,
  • Quick learner,
  • Ability to work effectively in teams with both clients and other Deloitte professionals,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your future role

You will be responsible for leading teams, incl. supervising preparing advanced business models and valuations for a wide range of purposes including: M&A transactions, debt financing, restructuring, strategy, accounting purposes, etc. You will be required to support sales and marketing activities (business development area). You will also gain an opportunity to cooperate with both major Polish and multinational companies.
Your work will be interesting, challenging and varied and will offer you great opportunities to continue to build and develop your valuation and modeling advisory, commercial, and financial analytical skills in the various sectors.
You will take an active part in whole processes related to V&M projects. That will include:

  • Managing projects, including maintaining direct contact and relationship with Clients,
  • Supporting and influencing junior staff in delivering projects,
  • Acting as a financial advisor across a broad spectrum of transactions through a sophisticated analysis of financial information,
  • Preparing presentations and reports to top client management,
  • As a part of project delivery, managing risks and quality procedures,
  • Taking responsibility for effective project delivery,
  • Supervising preparation of advanced financial models and valuations and reviewing of the analysis results,
  • Actively supervising work and development of junior colleagues, incl. looking for opportunities to grow team members’ expertise and talents,
  • Contributing to business development and the sales process,
  • Taking part in other activities as appropriate to complete the project.
