Who we are looking for
We are seeking a driven Consultant to join our Plant Maintenance (PM) team. As an SAP PM Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering strategic solutions and optimizing maintenance processes for our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP PM functionalities and the ability to operate independently in managing end-to-end implementation, support, and process improvement activities.
  • Consulting Expertise: Provide expert advice on maintenance processes using SAP PM, addressing client-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Process Optimization: Assess, design, and implement best practices for plant maintenance, ensuring process efficiency and alignment with client goals.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP PM modules, including maintenance plans, notifications, work orders, and technical objects.
  • Integration Support (nice to have): Collaborate on integration projects with other modules such as MM, SD, or FI/CO, ensuring seamless processes.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client discussions, analyze business challenges, and propose tailored SAP PM solutions.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Mentor junior team members and provide training to clients and end-users on SAP PM functionalities.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Address client queries, resolve system issues, and ensure smooth operation of SAP PM modules.
  • Project Management: Manage timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively for assigned SAP PM projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven expertise in SAP PM module, including configuration and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, asset management, and lifecycle management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex maintenance scenarios.
  • Proficiency in integrating SAP PM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, or FI/CO).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and team collaboration.
  • Experience in process improvement and system optimization projects.
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements in plant maintenance is a plus.
Your future role
  • Work closely with business units to gather and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical SAP PM specifications.
  • Configure, test, and deploy SAP PM solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Deliver end-user training and support to ensure system usability and adoption.
  • Stay current with SAP updates, tools, and industry trends to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements as needed.
