Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant/ Senior Consultant to provide expert consulting services in the incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and cyber defense. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in information technology, particularly in System Security and a deep understanding of IT security testing and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer,
  • Two years of experience in security principles such as attack frameworks, threat landscapes, or attacker tactics, techniques and procedures,
  • Experience in offensive security, with the ability to think like an adversary,
  • Experience in building and maintaining security systems,
  • Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc,
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Strong investigative mindset with an attention to detail,
  • Robust creativity and problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to think analytically,
  • Proficiency in scripting languages,
  • CompTIA PenTester+ or ComptTia Security+ or CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment Profesional, CEH or other PenTest Certifications Is a plus
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure,
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills,

This role is critical for providing security testing and technical expertise to our clients, ensuring the security, compliance, and efficiency of their systems and applications.

Your future role

  • Conduct formal testing on computer systems, Assess the security of computer software and hardware, Conduct security audits and legal cyberattack simulations by designing and utilizing hacking tools to access designated pieces of data during a predetermined time frame, Generate tools for breaking into security systems, Detect and correct system weaknesses and Provide recommendations based on an assessment of hardware and software systems.
  • Participate in IT system security audits,
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols,
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks,
  • Ensure that the Deloitte clients knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents,
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement,
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders responsible for security remediation actions to close identified gaps and remediation validation testing.
