Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

  • Higher education is required and degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or similar field is an advantage,
  • International education or/and experience is an advantage,
  • 3-4 years of work experience in audit or corporate finance (experience in M&A transaction services is an asset),
  • CFA or ACCA certification will be considered as an advantage,
  • Being familiar with corporate finance, accounting, finance, and business valuation concepts,
  • Strong commitment to client service excellence,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Serbian and English,
  • Excellent analytical skills,
  • Ability to work effectively in teams with both clients and other Deloitte professionals,
  • Superior skills in MS Excel and Power Point.

Your future role

  • Demonstrate an ability to identify and evaluate business, industry, financial, and accounting isks related to M&A transactions.
  • Assess targets' historical and projected earnings and cash flows; hidden contingencies, commitments,; as well as the quality of assets and internal controls.
  • Review and comment on financial and accounting considerations in investment models.
  • Perform data analysis to deliver corporate finance, financial due diligence, and business valuation advisory services.
  • Identify potential "deal breakersand company or deal-specific risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in structuring purchase price adjustment mechanisms relevant to share purchase agreements.
  • Identify integration and post-transaction issues.
  • Support senior colleagues in day-to-day activities, including business development.

About the team
Our Financial Advisory team is a collaborative group that creates value for clients undergoing a merger, acquisition or divestiture. It supports our clients in all stages of the M&A lifecycle through our One-Deloitte approach. Our team is growing and you will have opportunity to work across multiple Deloitte Offices in Central Europe depending on the client needs.
