Who we are looking for

Deloitte Tax is seeking a dynamic professional to join our team in Belgrade or Čačak, specializing in both Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Transfer Pricing (TP). As a key member of our Business Tax Service line, you will have the unique opportunity to engage in a diverse range of services, including M&A, CIT compliance, tax incentives, international tax advisory, and TP.  

Ideal candidate’s qualifications
  • University degree in Economics or Law;
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a tax consulting practice or relevant tax experience in business environment;
  • Advanced knowledge in the main areas of tax consulting;
  • Strong grasp of accounting and financial reporting is an advantage;
  • Excellent command of Serbian and English - speaking and writing;
  • Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills;
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word;
  • Efficient, well organized and able to prioritize;
  • Attention to detail and precision in work;
  • The capability to mentor and educate less experienced team members;
  • Initiative in proposing solutions;
  • Leadership skills.

Your future role

Work you will do

  • Communicate directly with client representatives through various channels.
  • Coordinate the collection of documentation for CIT and TP compliance projects and tax due diligence.
  • Prepare first draft deliverables, including emails, memos, and calculations.
  • Assist in finalizing deliverables, processing comments, and changes.
  • Support project administration activities, including drafting proposals and engagement letters.
  • Manage and coach junior consultants and interns.
  • Maintain client relationships and work towards becoming the main point of contact.
  • Actively contribute to marketing and business development efforts.
  • Process data related to project execution as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Conduct tax research, issue expert opinions, and provide advice to clients.
  • Gather and organize information from clients.
  • Resolve basic administrative issues for clients.
  • Participate in preparing various types of tax reports as per team leader's instructions.
  • Provide training to junior colleagues.
