Who we are looking for
Deloitte Tax is currently looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, trustworthy, and energetic colleague to join our team in Belgrade
Our ideal candidate’s qualifications

  • Relevant University degree and professional qualifications (will be considered as advantage)
  • 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in a tax consulting practice or relevant tax experience in business environment;
  • Professional and pro-active approach to deliver high-quality tax advisory services in a timely and coordinated manner;
  • Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills;
  • Well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities;
  • Ambitious and willing for self improvement;
  • Excellent command of English - speaking and writing;
  • Out of the box mindset.

Your future role
  • Review of the advisory and compliance indirect tax deliverables prepared by younger team members, subject to the further manager’s review.
  • Knowledge of the value added tax (VAT) is a must have, and knowledge of the excises and customs duties is good to have.
  • Advisory deliverables include comments and reports for queries raised by the client, while compliance deliverables include review or preparation of tax returns.
  • The role also includes communication with the Tax Authorities and covering indirect taxes in due diligence and tax health check projects.
  • Project management including obtaining relevant information from the client and taking care that the project is delivered in set deadline.
  • Helping clients to see the big picture and offering different perspectives.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and work towards becoming the main point of contact for the client.
  • Demonstrating high level of independence in work with timely escalating critical issues to managers.
  • Active teaching of younger team members and helping them reach their potentials.
  • Receive further development of technical and soft skills by working with managers.
