Who we are looking for
Deloitte Tax is currently looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, trustworthy, and energetic colleague to join our team in Belgrade
Our ideal candidate’s qualifications

  • Relevant University degree and professional qualifications (will be considered as advantage)
  • 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in a tax consulting practice or relevant tax experience in business environment;
  • Professional and pro-active approach to deliver high-quality tax advisory services in a timely and coordinated manner;
  • Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills;
  • Well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities;
  • Ambitious and willing for self improvement;
  • Excellent command of English - speaking and writing;
  • Out of the box mindset.

Your future role
  • Researching and preparing basic advisory work for our clients
  • Supporting senior colleagues in advising companies on a wide range of indirect taxes including value added tax (VAT), excises and customs duties
  • Preparing deliverables relating to VAT compliance services (e.g. VAT registration application files, VAT returns) for an identified clients' portfolio, with the guidance and under the supervision of a VAT expert
  • Supporting senior tax specialists at client meetings and industry forums
  • Offering your perspective and delivering tax knowledge in context so clients see the big picture
  • Liaising with the clients and the Tax Authorities to discuss client issues
  • Learning about compliance obligations and timelines, rights and obligations of taxpayers, and VAT/litigation issues and procedures
  • Receiving regular feedback offering guidance to help ensure your constant development
