Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

  • More than 3 years of professional experience in banking, financial institutions, consulting, or supervisory institutions
  • Experience in areas of Recovery & Resolution, ICAAP, CRR / CRD IV requirements, IFRS 9 requirements, Banking law, Stress testing, ESG and/or other regulatory requirements for financial institutions
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or related studies
  • Relevant professional qualifications desired (CFA, FRM, etc.).
  • ESG professional qualifications would be a plus.
  • Record in managing or contributing to Regulatory projects
  • Strong relationship management skills demonstrated through the professional network with stakeholders at all levels within the banking sector on a local or national basis
  • A good understanding of the macroeconomic and financial markets environment
  • The ability to work under own initiative and in different environments
  • Willingness to learn and increase practical and theoretical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English

Your future role

As a Senior Consultant, you will be working on:

Implementation and compliance with various regulatory requirements (e.g. ESG, EBA/ECB Guidelines, ICAAP, Stress Testing, BCBS, Basel 3.1)
Risk management, measurement, and mitigation concepts
Desing and implementation of processes aligned with supervisory expectations
Operational risk management
Regulatory and management reporting
Contribution to delivering ESG-related projects for financial institutions, covering topics such as:
    • Process and gap analysis for existing and upcoming ESG regulations, guidelines and best practices
    • materiality assessments of risk inventory vs. ESG
    • ESG integration into risk management (underwriting, RAF, ICAAP)
    • Climate risk quantification and stress testing
    • ESG disclosure and reporting

We are a team of more than 30 professionals specialized in Risk Advisory services for financial institutions, located in cluster Central Europe South, operating as a ONE team, across borders. We advise local and international banks, non-banking financial institutions, supra-national institutions, and supervisors on a wide range of complex topics.

Considering the strong development of our business in the last years, the organic planned growth of our team, and upcoming challenges faced by the financial sector in various themes surrounding regulatory requirements, we are currently looking to further strengthen our Risk Advisory team within the Central Europe South and located in Zagreb, with talented professionals.
