Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

Candidate we are looking for:
* 4th or 5th year student preferably in economics or law, with an understanding of finance, law and management
* You’re prepared to gradually develop technical skills to become a trusted consultant for routine compliance questions and issues in your area of specialization
* You love problem solving and can turn complex technical analyses into practical solutions in a language others can understand
* You understand the theory behind tax rules and combine analysis with insight
* You see the value in data and accuracy and see insights where others see numbers
* You have good communication skills and a are reliable team player
Your future role
* Learning about compliance obligations and timelines, rights and obligations of taxpayers, and VAT/litigation issues and procedures
* Preparing deliverables relating to VAT compliance services (e.g. VAT registration application files, VAT returns) for an identified clients’ portfolio, with the guidance and under the supervision of a VAT expert
* Researching and preparing basic advisory work for our clients
* Supporting senior colleagues in advising companies on a wide range of indirect taxes including value added tax (VAT), excises and customs duties
* Supporting senior tax specialists at client meetings and industry forums
* Receiving regular feedback offering guidance to help ensure your constant development
