Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for a mature Technology Manager in our Tax & Legal team (T&L), to develop and drive the technology strategy, manage its execution, and drive the development process. 
Our ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, a passion for team management, and a keen business mindset. This role involves representing our country's team in regional hub discussions, leading a dedicated team of developers, and optimizing project allocations. Key competencies include advanced knowledge of finance-related technologies (e.g., ERPs, platforms, processes, solutions, vendors, etc.), solid business acumen, and proven team management skills, ideally demonstrated in a consulting role, whether internally or client-facing

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical lead or similar role.
• Strong understanding of OOP, with demonstrated knowledge in .NET, Java or Python.
• Proven experience in team management and mentorship.
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to develop and present business cases.
• Great communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with tax systems would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in a consulting firm would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with SQL, HTML5, Javascript, APEX is a plus.
• English at proficient level - both speaking and writing.

Your future role

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions for the tax and legal team.
  • Ensure the application of best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business needs.
  • Develop and present business cases for new technical solutions, demonstrating their value and alignment with company objectives.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and foster a positive working environment.  

Business Development:

  • Represent the country in regional hub discussions, promoting our team's services and capabilities.
  • Engage in negotiations and technical discussions to sell our services to clients.

Infrastructure Support:

  • Oversee the infrastructure requirements for the tax and legal team, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Liaise with IT and other technical teams for infrastructure setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
