Who we are looking for
You will need to:
  • Speak and write fluent English
  • Know your way around Microsoft Office really well
  • Not be surprised by audit language. You should be able to teach it to others too
  • Have university degree in business/finance/accounting.
  • Have at least 2 years of work experience in internal audit/ control/ risk management areas.
  • Have good analytical and data interrogation skills.
  • Have drive and enthusiasm to work in a team, as well as commitment to client service.
Your future role
Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice has a risk-based approach, experienced professionals, comprehensive methodologies, and technical resources for serving our client in the areas of internal audit, risk management, compliance, information security and IT.
To strengthen our team in Bucharest, we are actively looking for a Consultant in Internal Audit.

We want you to:

  • Pass some certifications
  • Understand and document what our clients do - and what they should do
  • We have many types of projects, such as:
  • Internal audits, of course
  • Operational and strategic risk assessments
  • Internal control assessments
  • Advisory for process improvement
What you’ll actually do:

  • Each project is different, but the bottom line is that you will work with your colleagues first to figure out what is to be done. 
  • Then, you’ll connect with the clients to understand their specific context. 
  • You’ll need to document these steps accurately – there’s a lot to read and to write. 
  • You’ll then use your knowledge and your creative side: advising the clients what they should actually do. 
  • The more experience you gain, the closer you’ll be able to work with clients and the more trust we’ll place in you.
