To qualify for the role you must have

  • Degree in Economics
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting (experience in bookkeeping company is an advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Croatian and English
  • Substantial MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making and a hands on approach

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SAP is an advantage
  • Experience in payroll calculation is an advantage
  • Attention to detail with commitment to high quality and accuracy

Education and experience

  • Master's degree
  • 3+ Years of Experience

Language knowledge

  • Croatian
  • English

As a Senior Accountant you will be included in:

  • Support the monthly and quarterly close process ensuring that underlying processes review and controls have been completed in accordance with best practice
  • Support the delivery of timely & accurate financial and management information
  • Responsible for delivering timely and insightful month end accounting requirements
  • Assist on all internal/external reporting requirements
  • Preparation of the annual Statutory Financial Statements and consolidation reports
  • Preparation of the Corporate Income Tax return
  • Helping manage year end processes including preparation for Audit
  • Managing employee’s expense reimbursement and related reporting
  • Processing other accounting documentation, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Managing relationships with both internal and external clients and vendors
