Deloitte is seeking a Chief Accountant to join the Finance team based in Ukraine, Kyiv.

Requirements:

Ukrainian native speaker.
University degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 3 years’ experience as a Chief Accountant in Ukrainian company rendering services.
Knowledge of IFRS, Ukrainian GAAP and tax regulations (incl. VAT, CIT, PIT, WHT, Soc.Security, other taxes and public dues).
Understanding of transfer pricing regulations.
Proficiency in Excel.
Knowledge of SAP ERP will be an advantage.
Intermediate or higher level of English.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in effective talents management.

Your future role

Overseeing the accounting team in Ukraine.
Monitoring correctness and accuracy of Ukrainian accounting across all areas of bookkeeping.
Preparation of financial statements under IFRS, reports on controlled transactions and annual management reports.
Review of Ukrainian VAT returns, preparation of income tax returns.
Monitoring and effective implementation of tax regulations related to company activity.
Payroll process supervision and participation in the payroll system implementation project.
Working in SAP ERP.
Preparation and submission of information on the services provided to the Audit Public Oversight Body.
Partnering other departments in the firm on financial matters, liaising with auditors, banks, tax offices and other public. bodies in area of statutory accounting and tax matters.
Facilitation of examinations conducted by Tax and other government authorities.
