We are looking for top-performing Director in Risk Advisory with executive-like experience in top-tier consulting firm, Big 4 or banking, passionate about business development and problem solving, and content about opportunity to develop career in leading professional firm in the region.

What will you bring
• 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a top-tier consulting firm, Big 4, or understand Risk and Finance topics from the bank.
• In depth knowledge of the sector preferably with hands-on experience in credit risk analytics
• Sound understanding of topics like Basel 2/3, IFRS 9, Resolution and recovery, Stress testing, climate risk embedding and net-zero targets, operational and non-financial risk
measurement and management frameworks, PD-LGD-EAD modelling techniques, Risk Appetite frameworks/ICAAP or other regulatory requirements for financial institutions.
• Track record of leading and managing teams, and delivering results in fast-paced, demanding environments
• Ability to comfortably interact with senior executives of companies on the various issues they face.
• Strategic, critical, yet creative thinker with ability to solve problems.
• Outstanding working written and verbal communication skills in Slovene and English, German and Serbian/Croatian nice to have.
• A clear commitment to creating impactful solutions that solve our clients’ problems.
• Internationally located candidates willing to relocate to Ljubljana, Slovenia welcome to apply.

• University master's degree and full membership of an internationally recognized professional association (CFA, FRM, ACCA or SCR),

Directors are critical thought leaders within our Risk Advisory practice. They work side-by-side with our clients and guide and oversee a team on wide range of topics. As a Director in Risk Advisory, you will be working on:
• Driving business development activities such as:
o understanding market dynamics and expectations and contributing to expanding the offering and development of Risk Advisory practice,
o driving eminence efforts on local Slovene and regional markets – organizing and leading events for financial markets, such as webinars, workshops, training and generally participating to subject related events,
o developing existing and new client relationships and networks,
o leading the drafting of proposals (including, technical proposal, planning, budgeting and staffing),

• Acting as on-scene leader who will run our projects day-by-day.
o Leading the team through effective problem-solving process from initial thought process through convergence on a solution
o Ensuring that recommendations are correct, practical, sensible, relevant and cohesive
o Effectively communicating issues and solutions in formal and informal settings, through written and verbal communication
o Developing a talent agenda

Risk Advisory practice in Slovenia is growing rapidly. It predominantly focuses on clients in financial services to adapt their risk and resilience strategies to continuously changing market conditions, emerging risks, and rising regulatory expectations. Our projects are mostly focused on issues at the top of the C-suite (e.g., CRO, CFO, CEO area) and Board agendas and span a wide spectrum of disciplines.

We operate within the region of Central Europe South, as a One Team across the borders to serve our clients better.
