Kogo szukamy

Secure products and solutions always have a secure underlying hardware and communication layer. To ensure that stated security requirements are met and the hardware and communication interfaces do not weaken the overall security, we perform security testing both on hardware (electronics) and interface level (e.g. RF communication interfaces).

Our typical targets include but are not limited to automotive components (ECUs), IoT products, custom or consumer electronics.

If you are familiar with digital electronics, different CPU and MCU architectures and products, electronics lab and measurement equipments, and you are not afraid of working with exposed PCBs, microchips and small traces, if you can solve on-demand issues with electronics prototyping and if you are interested in finding security weaknesses in products and hacking through their implemented protections, then this job is waiting for you.

Required professional background and skills:

  • Good understanding of digital electronics
  • Good understanding of schematics
  • Good understanding of hardware level communication interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI, UART, SWD, JTAG), test and measurement tools (e.g. DSO/MSO, logic analyzer, signal generator) and testing / interfacing techniques
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Be a quick and independent learner
  • Self-dependent and creative problem solver
  • Attentiveness to detail, precision
  • Fluent English
  • High level of integrity
  • Professional attitude

Advantages

  • Experience with embedded system development
  • Experience with modern automotive grade MCUs (e.g. Infineon Aurix TriCore)
  • Experience with PCB design and EDA software
  • Theoretical and/or practical knowledge of hardware hacking tools and techniques
  • Experience with BT, LoRa, ZigBee and other typical IoT RF communication protocols

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Security testing (hardware hacking and IoT hacking) of electronic devices and their communication channels/interfaces
  • Writing reports/documentation/presentation about the project results, present and explain the technical details to clients
  • Research and learn new technologies, tools, techniques required for projects
