Join our Tax & Legal Delivery Centre as Finance & Reporting Specialist!

The Tax & Legal Delivery Center (TLDC) was set up in 2017 to provide administrative support to Deloitte’s European network. Over the years, it has quickly grown into an organization of 6 different service lines, counting 380+ employees and offering a wide range of administrative and technical support services to Deloitte European and Global Tax Operations. From ensuring compliance for internationally mobile workforces to optimizing tax strategies and securing government incentives or providing pan-EU VAT compliance services, TLDC also grows teams focusing on international trade advisory and legal support in the attempt to deliver value and efficient solutions to Deloitte Member Firms and their clients worldwide. As a Finance Specialist, you will mainly focus on ensuring accurate and efficient application of our internal finance processes and be responsible for taking an active role in the day-to-day operations of the center’s financial operations.

Qualifications for the role:

• Relevant university degree (economics, accounting);
• Previous controlling experience +1 year;
• Previous experience with reporting/BI tools as Cognos or other equivalent is considered a plus.
• Strong experience in working with Excel and large databases;
• International business exposure, working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders;
• Advanced English (both written and spoken)
• Solid controls consciousness and analytical skills;
• Good planning project management skills;
• Team player, with very good interpersonal and communication skills.

Your future role
Responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of and ensuring the accuracy of the monthly billing process for the different TLDC teams.
• Preparing monthly financial reports and presentations to various stakeholders.
• Perform additional analysis of data, presentations, as required by Head of Center.
• Processes the expense invoices and correctly allocates them to the related codes
• Owner of the process of creating and managing engagement codes, ensuring full compliance
• Super-user for software and tools used for timekeeping and invoicing process.
• In charge of training TLDC new joiners on the use of the timekeeping tools and ensure availability to provide guidance
• Adhere to the finance processes, controls and timelines outlined in the Internal Policies and Procedures
Participate as TLDC Finance team member in different projects that imply reporting tools, internal control implementation or business processes improvements.
• Actively seeking for continuous improvement, improving efficiency and implementing best practices and procedures
