Who we are looking for
We are looking for a SCADA Design Engineer / Consultant to lead and support the design and implementation of SCADA systems in greenfield automobile manufacturing projects. This role requires strong hands-on experience in writing TRS and FDS documents, working knowledge of SCADA standards, and exposure to complex manufacturing environments such as assembly lines, paint shops, and warehouses.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:
  • ✔️ Strong experience in writing TRS (Technical Requirement Specifications) and FDS (Functional Design Specifications) for SCADA systems. 
  • ✔️ Proven expertise in SCADA design and development for greenfield projects.
  • ✔️ In-depth understanding of SCADA standards like ISA112 and ISA95.
  • ✔️Fluent in Czech and English
  • ✔️ Experience working in automobile manufacturing environments (e.g., assembly line, paint shop, warehouse).
  • ✔️ Proficiency in at least one SCADA platform such as: GE Cimplicity, iFix or other equivalent SCADA systems
  • ✔️ Working knowledge of PLC Platforms: Siemens S7-1500, Rockwell, GE Rx3i
  • ✔️ Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols such as: Profinet, Modbus


Good-to-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, or related fields.
  • Certifications in SCADA systems, PLC programming, or automation design.
  • Exposure to OPC UA or other advanced industrial connectivity standards.
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, IT).
  • Familiarity with tools for simulation, testing, and remote commissioning.


Your future role
  • Develop and deliver high-quality TRS and FDS documentation aligned with project and industry standards.
  • Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems for greenfield automotive projects.
  • Ensure solutions follow ISA112 and ISA95 standards for scalability and integration.
  • Coordinate with engineering, IT, and operational teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
  • Facilitate smooth handover and training sessions for plant teams.
