Opis i wymagania

Who we are looking for

We are looking for experienced professionals who have:

  • 3+ years (Senior consultant) or 5+ years (Manager) of professional experience in banking, financial institutions, consulting or supervisory institutions in some of the following areas (absence of experience in some of the areas stated below is not eliminatory):
    • Sustainability management & governance
    • ESG risk assessments and due diligence for banking products, services, and investment (loan) portfolios
    • Design and implementation of ESG policies, frameworks, and procedures to ensure compliance and integration into business operations
    • Preparation and review ESG reports, disclosures, and communications in line with international standards and stakeholder expectations
    • Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of ESG initiatives, using key performance indicators and metrics to drive continuous improvement
    • Sustainable finance framework including labeling (classification) according to different sustainable frameworks (EU Taxonomy, Green loan principles, Green bond principles, Social bonds, Social impact lending, Sustainability loans & bonds, Sustainability linked loans & bonds)
    • Development and implementation of ESG strategies and initiatives aligned with the bank’s overall business objectives and regulatory requirements (including but not limited to Decarbonization strategy)
    • (Optional) Banking regulation including but not limited to:
      • Basel III/IV requirements and reporting
      • IFRS 9 requirements
      • ICAAP/ILAAP and Stress testing
      • Risk Data management
      • Risk quantification
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration or related studies
  • Experience in contributing to projects related to banking regulation (Senior consultant)
  • Experience in participating (senior consultant role) or managing (manager role) complex Regulatory projects and successful management of senior stakeholders
  • Strong relationship and professional network within the banking sector on a local or international basis
  • A good understanding of the macroeconomic and financial markets environment
  • Ability to work under own initiative and in many different and challenging environments
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and lead the business development process (Manager)
  • Excellent communication and team management skills in English
  • Programming and database skills will be considered as advantage
  • International experience will be considered as advantage
  • Relevant professional qualifications: (SCR, CFA, FRM, Certificate in ESG Investing, SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA), or GRI Standards certification etc.) will be considered an additional asset

Your future role

Your responsibilities are to support the development and growth of our practice and contribute to the risk advisory services operations.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be working on:

  • Projects where you will be part of team of experienced consultants delivering services for leading financial institutions in Serbia and Balkan region
  • Development and review of banking framework concepts areas stated in the first paragraph
  • Understanding, management and hands-on regarding the data used under the areas stated in the first paragraph
  • Contributing to and/or leading the drafting of proposals (including technical proposal/regulatory requirements and planning)
  • Work with clients and other relevant units of the Bank to mobilize technical and financial support to enhance the environmental and social sustainability of their operations, adding value to operations.

As a Manager you will be working on:

  • Coordination and delivery of projects on various regulatory topics
  • Deep understanding of the areas stated in the first paragraph
  • Driving business development activities
  • Contributing to and/or leading the drafting of proposals (including technical proposal/regulatory requirements, planning, budgeting and staffing)
  • Understanding market dynamics and expectations and contributing to expanding the offering and practice development on all topics for financial institution
  • Driving eminence efforts on local and regional markets – organizing and leading events for financial markets, such as webinars, workshops, training and generally participating relevant events
  • Develop existing and new client relationships
  • Team development and management
  • Work with clients and other relevant units of the Bank to mobilize technical and financial support to enhance the environmental and social sustainability of their operations, adding value to operations.

We advise local and international banks, non-banking financial institutions, supra-national institutions, and supervisors on a wide range of complex topics.
