Who we are looking for

We are looking for an Azure Data Architect to join our international AI & Data team. Our team provides both external and internal clients with big data analytics, advanced analytics, integrations, machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. We help our clients to make the most from their data. We also develop and deploy our own cloud-based products.

What do we expect from you? 🎯

5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services.
Strong expertise in Azure Data Services including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.
Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or related frameworks.
Experience with data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, etc.).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup for data workflows.
Ideally active Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Data Engineer certification.
Expertise in cloud security best practices and data governance in an Azure environment.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or other scripting languages used in data transformation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
English to an excellent level - you will use it every day (German will be considered plus)
EU passport - you may have business trips within the EU

Your future role

Design and architect comprehensive data solutions on Azure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines
Lead the development of data models, data integration, and ETL processes to support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics
Lead the developers’ teams implementing architectures during projects delivery
Implement and optimize Azure-based services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
Provide leadership in the architecture and delivery of data storage, processing, and integration strategies using modern data platforms
Ensure security, scalability, and performance of data solutions, following cloud and data governance best practices
Work with clients throughout the whole project cycle - Business understanding, Data understanding, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment
Take active part in creating the proposals for our clients and help in developing business expansion
Coach other team members on Data Architecture related matters
Stay current on Azure’s evolving services and features, advising on potential innovations or optimizations
