Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT Security or with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence - preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Certifications in ServiceNow, ITIL, or related fields are a plus.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS).
  • Strong business process modeling and requirements documentation skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, especially SecOps modules – nice to have.

Work Environment:
The role may involve remote work, on-site presence, or a hybrid model, depending on the organization's policies and requirements. Occasional travel may be required for training, workshops, or collaboration with other teams.


Your future role

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including security teams, IT, and business units, to gather and document requirements for security operations.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement or automation within the ServiceNow platform.

2. Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Design and document solutions leveraging ServiceNow SecOps modules (e.g., Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence).
  • Collaborate with developers and administrators to implement and configure ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Ensure that the implemented solutions adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards.

3. Testing and Validation:
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality of ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
  • Identify and document defects, work with development teams to resolve issues, and verify fixes.

4. User Training and Support:
  • Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, helping them navigate and utilize the ServiceNow SecOps features effectively.

5. Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and ServiceNow technologies, recommending enhancements and upgrades.

6. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for business processes, configurations, customizations, and workflows.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into security operations metrics and performance.

About the team
The Junior ServiceNow Security Operation (SecOps) Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, defining, and implementing security-related business processes and workflows within the ServiceNow platform in collaboration with ServiceNow Architects and Developer. This role requires an understanding of cybersecurity principles, ServiceNow capabilities, and the ability to align security operations with business objectives. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of the SecOps modules.
