Your future role

The public sector is faced with increasing pressure to evolve and to offer more “customer-centric” services but constraints on the public sector can slow this transformation. Deloitte Public Sector practice supports governments and UE institutions in their efforts to improve ​the way they operate and to embark on their digital transformation journey.

As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Public Sector Team you will support development of public sector practice, project pipeline building and delivery of comprehensive projects. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders, managing consultants and tasks (PMO), carry out market analyses to identify opportunities and coordinate implementation of cross-function strategic initiatives.

Public sector consulting spans many areas, hence you will work on a broad range of topics: digitalization of public sector, energy, transport, investment and financing (incl. PPP), sustainable and smart city, urban development, strategies and policies, mobility, education, health, good governance, etc.

Your responsibilities:

·       advising clients on key business issues and addressing their problems and market opportunities;

·       bringing expertise, participating in creating and implementing solutions for local, regional and central governments as well as other public entities including the EU institutions;

·       interacting with clients, internal and external stakeholders;

·       building new service offering, go-to-market strategies and preparing proposals;

·       conducting market research, monitoring relevant regulations in the area of EU & Polish law, market trends in specific sectors;

·       building business eminence;

·       planning, executing, controlling projects.


·       graduate with 5+ years of working experience in consulting, preferably public sector and digital oriented;

·       2+ experience in leading teams and projects;

·       Project Management (PM) skills – knowledge of Project Management methodologies / framework (e.g. PRINCE / PMI / Agile)

·       interest in/ knowledge of any of the following: business / organisation model/transformation, business analysis, digitalization from the angle of public administration will be an asset 

·       great organizational and planning capabilities, excellent search and analytical skills – Business Analysis skillset;

·       experience in preparing proposal, proposing content and designing solutions;

·       proactive and can-do attitude – ability to work in changing / dynamic environment;

·       good team player;

·       strong “consultant skill-set”, problem solving, strategic thinking, very good knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS PowerPoint;

·       strong command of spoken and written English and Polish.
