Who we are looking for

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? A system's professional who wants to work in a collaborative environment. As an experienced Tester, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. If so, consider an opportunity with Deloitte under our Deloitte Consulting team.

Required skills:

  • 4+ years previous experience in IT testing projects (software delivery projects)
  • Experience in banking projects, digital channels/digital journey projects and any certification in testing are a plus
  • Experience in automation testing is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lead test activities across all the different phases of testing, from test planning, to test execution, to test reporting
  • Ability to manage client stakeholders and drive test execution
  • Ability to properly interact with project team: Business Analyst, Development Team, Project Manager, PMO team, while working together to deliver the actual project
  • Fast ramp-up capabilities in understanding the client environment and the ongoing projects
  • Expertise in analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and software usability
  • Experience in running Defect Management process effectively
  • Experience in working with use cases, business requirements, test scenarios
  • Experience in performing functional testing, while providing support for business testing and Friends & Family testing
  • Proficient in JIRA, HP ALM or similar tools for Defect Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Understanding of security testing fundamentals
  • Automated Testing with Selenium, Cypress



Your future role

  • Design, create, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar bug-tracking systems
  • Conduct manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, usability, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily standups
  • Perform API testing and work with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security requirements
  • Provide detailed test reports and feedback to improve software quality

  • 15 min HR phone interview in English
  • 60 min technical interview via Teams 
  • Final Decision
