Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in audit and financial management, combining technical expertise in financial reporting (IFRS/US GAAP) with a solid understanding of business processes, internal controls, and team leadership.
Qualifications and experience:
- 6–10 years of experience in audit (Big4 or equivalent) and industry finance role (Controlling&Reporting)
- Proven experience in managing audit engagements and coordinating teams
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
- Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial close cycles
- Professional certification (ACCA, CAFR, or equivalent) is a plus
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Romanian (spoken and written)
Your future role
- Lead and manage Accounting and Reporting, Internal Controls and Assurance engagements from planning through completion
- Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery in line with professional standards and client expectations
- Review and document financial and operational processes (P2P, O2C, R2R), identifying risks and designing effective controls
- Support clients with finance transformation initiatives – including reporting improvements, process review and control enhancements
- Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams (Tax, Consulting, IT Assurance) to deliver integrated solutions
- Maintain and develop client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
- Leverage data analytics and digital tools to drive efficiency and insights in engagement delivery
