Our ideal candidate’s qualifications are:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in auditing companies;
• Good GAAP/IFRS knowledge;
• Experience in supervising the work of others;
• University degree, preferably in Accounting, Auditing, Business and Finance, Organizational or Math science and similar fields;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are a plus);
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels;
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town engagements;
• Experience in an international environment/projects will be a plus
• An ACCA license would be considered a plus
• Chamber of Authorized Auditors license would be considered as a plus
• Experience in auditing financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, leasing, investment funds, pension funds, etc) would be considered as a plus

As a Consultant in our Belgrade office, you will act as a lead member of an engagement team and be responsible for performing all aspects of the engagement, including planning, fieldwork, research on audit and accounting issues, reviewing financial statements and disclosures, and coordinating and clearing all levels of review.

The responsibilities of the Consultant will vary depending on the scope and nature of the engagement.

Develop and motivate junior audit staff and provide them with counseling and career guidance.
