Who we are looking for

🎯We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with strong Databricks expertise to join our AI & Data practice in Poland. In this role, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale data solutions, while leading project teams and guiding clients on their data transformation journey.

🌍This is a client-facing position where you will combine deep technical knowledge with consulting skills to deliver impactful solutions.

7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in Databricks.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of leading teams and delivering end-to-end data engineering projects.
Deep expertise in Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
Strong knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, or GCP BigQuery).
Experience with data modeling, performance optimization, and large-scale distributed systems.
Excellent consulting skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English and native-level Polish are required

Your future role

Lead the design and architecture of scalable data platforms using Databricks and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define strategy, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Build and optimize complex data pipelines and ETL processes with Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, SQL).
Ensure governance, security, and performance of data solutions across large-scale projects.
Work closely with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders in multi-disciplinary consulting teams.
Drive adoption of best practices, coding standards, and reusable frameworks within the team.
Support pre-sales activities, proposals, and client workshops as a subject matter expert in Databricks.
