Who we are looking for
🎯We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with strong Databricks expertise to join our AI & Data practice in Poland. In this role, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale data solutions, while leading project teams and guiding clients on their data transformation journey. 

🌍This is a client-facing position where you will combine deep technical knowledge with consulting skills to deliver impactful solutions.


  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in Databricks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering end-to-end data engineering projects.
  • Deep expertise in Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, or GCP BigQuery).
  • Experience with data modeling, performance optimization, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Excellent consulting skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English and native-level Polish are required
Your future role
  • Lead the design and architecture of scalable data platforms using Databricks and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define strategy, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Build and optimize complex data pipelines and ETL processes with Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, SQL).
  • Ensure governance, security, and performance of data solutions across large-scale projects.
  • Work closely with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders in multi-disciplinary consulting teams.
  • Drive adoption of best practices, coding standards, and reusable frameworks within the team.
  • Support pre-sales activities, proposals, and client workshops as a subject matter expert in Databricks.
