Who we are looking for
We are seeking skilled Regulatory Reporting Operations Analyst to support our esteemed investment banking clients. Join our team to contribute to regulatory reform and drive change within financial markets. As a Regulatory Reporting Operations Analyst, you’ll manage business requests, implement initiatives, assess risks, and support clients, all requiring strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. You will ensure compliance with regulatory reporting obligations globally, focusing on high standards of teamwork, precision, and adaptability in a fast-changing environment. 

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, accounting, or a related field. 
  • Prior experience in financial services is an advantage. 
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and understanding of complex workflows. 
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate issues, escalate concerns timely, and share ideas effectively. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build robust relationships with stakeholders both within and outside Operations. 
  • Self-motivated team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects with effective organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within deadlines and work well under pressure in a team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Basic understanding of the regulatory landscape in financial markets. 
  • Understanding of various risks, including financial, operational, and reputational. 
  • Knowledge of financial markets, associated processes, and practical understanding of financial products such as equities, fixed income, exchange-traded derivatives, and OTC derivatives. 
  • Familiarity with project management and business analysis practices. 
  • Interest in data analysis, process automation, and BI (Business Intelligence) tools. 
Your future role
  • Execution: Assist in fulfilling non-financial regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., MIFID/MIFIR, EMIR, SFTR). 
  • Impact Assessment: Evaluate business and functional specifications to determine the potential effects on regulatory obligations. 
  • Client Service: Manage client inquiries regarding regulatory reporting and focus on delivering quality service. 
  • Data Analysis: Investigate front-to-back system infrastructure to understand data flows, booking models, and capture logic. 
  • Initiatives Implementation: Play a key role in executing large-scale initiatives across the Global Regulatory Operations department to enhance operational objectives. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to support reporting functions. 
  • Training: Mentor and train colleagues to understand complex workflows and processes. 
  • Innovation: Proactively propose new initiatives that align with team goals and improve regulatory reporting practices.
