Who we are looking for

We are seeking a skilled Front Office Murex Consultant to join our team 🚀


🎯 What we expect from you 

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics, Finance, IT or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commonly traded financial instruments (e.g., derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX), as well as capital markets processes across front-to-back.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Front Office Consultant, Developer, or Business Analyst within the Murex platform, especially in front-office modules.
  • Previous experience in delivering projects within financial services, particularly those involving Murex.
  • Solid experience in gathering and writing functional specifications and requirements, utilizing tools such as Confluence for project documentation.
  • Extensive experience in Murex MX.3, particularly with front-office modules such as simulation, live book, e-tradepad, pre-trade workflows, market data, P&L, and GOM.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets products, including rates, credit, FX, exchange-traded derivatives, and OTC products, with a focus on linear and non-linear product configurations in Murex.


Your future role

As a Front Office Murex Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Murex platform to meet the specific needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with trading desks, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of Murex into the trading workflows, helping to support critical business functions such as trade capture, pricing, risk management, and P&L reporting.

You will leverage your extensive knowledge of financial products and trading operations to configure Murex to align with client-specific requirements. In addition to implementation, you will focus on continuously optimizing the Murex platform, ensuring it remains scalable and reliable in production environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, and develop solutions that meet Front Office expectations. 
  • Support for traders and middle office users on P&L / position mismatches, market operations.
  • Oversee the delivery of Murex solutions, ensuring high-quality functional output while managing and supporting the platform throughout its lifecycle.
  • Perform various levels of testing, including participation in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT), to ensure proper functionality and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders, assisting in defining requirements and delivering high-quality Murex solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Configure curves, static data (e.g., securities definitions, generators, indices), and customize the platform to meet business-specific requirements. This includes writing pre-trade rules, creating lookup tables, simulation views, e-tradepad configurations, and live book views.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on progress, issues, and any blockers (showstoppers), ensuring transparency and timely resolution of challenges.
  • Understand the impact of new changes to production environments and ensure smooth implementation and transition.
  • Facilitate deep collaboration across project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination to deliver the solution on time.
