Who we are looking for

If you are interested in risk modelling, data science or financial regulation, moreover if you want to gather experience in working with different clients in multiple areas of the financial industry, join us as a Risk and Regulatory Compliance Manager and you will enjoy the work we do.

What skills and interests make you a suitable candidate?

5+ years of experience in the financial sector or at a consultancy firm with experience in financial regulation (e.g. Basel III, Solvency II, MiFID/MiFIR, EMIR, PSD2) and/or risk management (capital adequacy, risk governance, risk management processes related to credit, market and operational risk) and/or FSI ESG, or a combination of these
Basic knowledge of banking products.
Strong interest in financial institutions’ regulatory compliance and/or sustainability focus areas
Working proficiency of Hungarian and English language.
People management and/or project management experience
Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Attention to detail and prioritization skills
Ability to adapt to a project centric, dynamic team

Advantages:

German language knowledge
Industry related certification (e.g., FRM, CFA)
Active knowledge in green lending, ESG regulation, climate risk measurement and ESG implementation within the FSI industry

Your future role

As part of our high-performing Risk, Regulatory and Forensic Team you will have the opportunity to:

Coordinate various sub-streams of FSI risk management, regulatory compliance and/or ESG projects
Act as subject matter expert in risk management, regulatory compliance and FSI ESG projects, and take the lead in designing and implementing our service offerings and taking them to market
Gain experience in the field while working together with domestically and internationally recognized clients
Build strong client relationships, and grow our Hungarian and regional footprint
Share knowledge and develop junior colleagues while coordinating their work
Shape, interpret and implement regulatory changes across multiple risk types
Explore trending areas such as sustainable finance and bank resolution
Work closely together with other service lines and teams in Hungary and Europe
