Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
We are seeking a motivated SAP Archiving consultant with expertise on SAP  Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and/or other archiving solutions such as Jivs, OpenText InfoArchive, SNP, etc. to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in SAP ILM and enterprise data management. The ideal candidate is early in their SAP career and eager to learn, contributing to data archiving, retention management, and compliance initiatives under the mentorship of senior professionals.

Technical Expertise
  • Up to 2 years’ experience with SAP or enterprise ERP systems (internship, coursework, or work experience).
  • Fundamental understanding of SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA) and interest in enterprise data management.
  • Familiarity with concepts of data archiving, retention, and compliance (through projects, coursework, or certification).
Compliance & Security
  • Familiarity with concepts of data archiving, retention, and compliance (through projects, coursework, or certification).
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements for data (e.g., GDPR, SOX) is an advantage.
Performance & Optimization
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Integration Skills
  • Exposure to SAP ILM, ArchiveLink,or OpenText Content management and OpenText ArchiveLink (through internship, academic projects, or certification).
Soft Skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to work within a team.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Up to 2 years’ experience with SAP or enterprise ERP systems (internship, coursework, or work experience).
Certifications (Optional)
  • SAP training or certification in ILM/Data Archiving is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori or ABAP (academic or self-study) is a plus.
Your future role
Solution Design & Implementation
  • Support customers in defining a data lifecycle and archiving strategy for their SAP environments.
  • Assist in SAP ILM or other solution configuration, data archiving activities, and retention management tasks.
  • Support project teams in implementing ILM solutions for data management and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to help achieve project objectives.
Compliance & Governance
  • Support project teams in implementing ILM solutions for data management and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on SAP ILM best practices and compliance-related developments.
Performance Optimization
  • Monitor and document system activities related to data archiving and data lifecycle processes.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and help resolve system issues related to ILM and archiving.
Integration & Interoperability
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to help achieve project objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings and support requirements gathering and analysis.
Testing & Documentation
  • Help prepare user guides, process documentation, and training materials for SAP ILM.
  • Monitor and document system activities related to data archiving and data lifecycle processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Participate in client meetings and support requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to help achieve project objectives.
