Who we are looking for
The Deloitte Salesforce Practice is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect / Technical Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, cost-effective, and efficient Salesforce solutions across complex enterprise environments, serving as the bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. You will translate complex business requirements into secure, maintainable Salesforce solutions, guiding delivery teams while actively engaging in pre-sales, client workshops, and demos to drive client success.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience across complex projects in enterprise environments.
- Proven Salesforce platform knowledge (Classic and Lightning) with Salesforce certifications demonstrating your expertise.
- Strong experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems, using APIs and middleware solutions.
- Demonstrated success in leading technical teams in the delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders, including C-level and IT Directors.
- Hands-on expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Ability to design scalable data models, security models, and sharing rules in Salesforce aligned with enterprise standards.
- Experience with cloud-based architecture and understanding of integration architecture patterns and best practices.
Preferred:
- Additional foreign language skills.
- Prior experience in pre-sales engagements, demos, and workshops with clients.
- Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are highly desirable.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and aligning technical solutions with strategic business objectives.
Your future role
As a Salesforce Solution Architect at Deloitte, you will be both technically and creatively challenged. You will develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges, understand the full scope of Salesforce solutions and integration components, and ensure seamless alignment with enterprise architecture. You will take a leadership role throughout design and delivery, ensuring clients receive the best value and outcomes, while also shaping the growth and delivery quality of Deloitte’s Salesforce practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and platform customizations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, translating business challenges into scalable, maintainable Salesforce and integration architectures.
- Design and oversee integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and event-driven architectures.
- Prepare technical blueprints and architectural documentation aligned with enterprise architecture principles and cost-effective delivery goals.
- Guide and review the work of development teams to ensure technical quality, alignment with architectural vision, and Salesforce best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities, including opportunity scoping, demos, and acting as a subject matter expert during client workshops.
- Lead and mentor Salesforce developers and administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay current on Salesforce platform capabilities, cloud-based architecture best practices, and integration architecture patterns, recommending enhancements for platform efficiency.
- Actively engage in technical feasibility assessments, roadmap planning, and technical debt analysis, driving recommendations for continuous platform improvement.
