Ideal candidate’s qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in audit or public accounting
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Good understanding of audit methodology, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with audit tools and systems is a plus
  • Motivation to pursue professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, local CPA)
  • Willingness to travel within Croatia
Your future role
As an Audit Senior Analyst / Consultant, you will support and execute audit activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and contributing to the delivery of high-quality work. Based on your experience, you will be entrusted with either independent audit tasks or leading smaller parts of the audit process.
You will:
  • Conduct audit procedures in accordance with internal methodology and international standards (ISA, IFRS)
  • Collect, verify, and analyze financial data provided by clients
  • Perform operational tasks within the audit process, including data testing and control checks
  • Ensure proper documentation of audit procedures and findings
  • Collaborate with clients and engagement team members in a professional and timely manner
  • Apply internal business standards and demonstrate initiative for learning and development
  • Take responsibility for delivering assigned audit tasks within deadlines and quality expectations
  • Support the onboarding and training of junior team members (for more experienced candidates)
  • Coordinate work within the team and participate in the day-to-day management of audit engagements (for candidates applying at consultant level)
  • Adhere to ethical and professional behavior standards expected at your position level
  • Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may evolve to include:
  • Leading smaller teams on audit engagements
  • Planning and scoping audit sections
  • Reviewing the work of junior analysts and providing on-the-job support
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients during fieldwork
