Who we are looking for

For our fast growing Cloud & Engineering practice in Central Europe we are looking for Data Engineers to join our Team. The candidate will be part of bigger Team, with various experience levels, responsible for delivering new data platform. The primary goal is to build highly scalable, secure platform which will replace the currently used Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines.

The platform will integrate data from multiple sources including high-volume streaming data sources. The implementation process will include business and functional analysis, platform architecture design, data model design, platform and ELT processes implementation as well as data migration and testing.

Your future role

Must have experience with Data integration / Data migration practices.
Support and extend the existing data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Transfer data from data warehouse and SQL database to Databricks or Bigquery.
Design and implement Bronze / Silver / Gold data layers.
Resolve challenges related to replication and permission constraints.
Support ingestion of SAS data, currently used in Risk contexts (SAS acting as ETL).
Transform SAS databases / files and load them into Databricks or BigQuery.
Work with CDC (Change Data Capture) integration patterns.
Support and optimize Databricks or BigQuery data models and transformations.
Ensure data readiness for Power BI consumption.

Skills:

Databricks or Google Cloud Eco-system - incl. Bigquery, Dataflow, Data Fusion etc.
Knowledge of working with SAS, MYSQL, PowerBI
Knowledge of ETL tools
Ability to read code and understand the ETL processes.
German is preferred, but good communication in English is a must.
Team player, able to lead and drive the topics in the team.
