Who we are looking for

🎯Build the future of cloud security through engineering, automation and AI

🔎We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a newly established international team at Deloitte Central Europe responsible for building scalable cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP.

This is not a traditional security operations role.

✔️You'll design and build automation-first solutions, develop reusable platform capabilities, and help transform how cloud security is delivered through code, AI-powered workflows and self-service services.

✔️If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, working with Kubernetes and modern cloud platforms, and building solutions that have global impact, we'd like to hear from you.

💼 What you'll bring

Must-have
6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Cloud Engineering
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container-based environments
Proven experience owning and improving CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with Git-based development and DevOps platforms
Strong programming skills in Python, Go or Java (Python preferred)
Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
Experience designing and building automation solutions, APIs or internal engineering platforms
Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps principles
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a global environment
Must be based in Hungary
Excellent English speaking skills as the team is international; must be Hungarian native speaker
Nice to have
Experience with AI, AIOps, ML-driven automation or intelligent workflow solutions
Experience with observability, monitoring or reporting platforms
Multi-cloud experience
SAP cloud experience
Experience with Security-as-Code, Policy-as-Code or Infrastructure-as-Code

Your future role

Design and develop scalable cloud security automation solutions across multi-cloud environments
Build and maintain platform services using modern engineering practices and a code-first approach
Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, reliable and efficient delivery
Develop integrations using APIs and enterprise platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow and cloud-native services
Use AI and automation to improve visibility, reduce manual effort and streamline operational processes
Create dashboards, reporting capabilities and self-service tools that help teams make better decisions
Work with Kubernetes and containerized workloads to support scalable platform capabilities
Collaborate with cloud, platform, engineering and security teams across a global organization
Drive continuous improvement through automation, innovation and data-driven decision making
