Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
  • 8+ years relevant experience as SAP Consultant, with strong exposure to end-to-end SAP programs (focus on MM / Sourcing & Procurement in S/4HANA); 
  • Proven experience in leading workstreams or small teams within SAP transformation programs; 
  • Strong understanding of SAP MM business processes (Procurement, Pricing, Release/Flexible Workflow, Special Procurement) and S/4HANA architecture & clean core principles; 
  • Solid knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation & Account Determination, as well as integration with FI/CO, EWM, TM, PP; 
  • Experience with modern S/4HANA concepts (Fiori-first approach, Output Management BRF+, API-based integrations vs. IDocs); 
  • Ability to drive process standardization and optimization, aligning global template with local requirements; 
  • Good understanding of project delivery methodologies (SAP Activate, Agile) and experience in planning and managing deliverables; 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior business stakeholders; 
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, compliant solutions; 
  • Proven experience in managing risks, issues, and escalations; 
  • Experience in delivering trainings, workshops, and solution presentations at management level; 
  • Fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus; 
  • Experience working in multicultural, distributed teams; 
  • Flexibility to travel 20% of the time, when required. 
Your future role
  • Lead and own SAP MM/Sourcing & Procurement workstreams across project phases: Template, Fit-Gap, Build, Test, Go-Live, Hypercare; 
  • Drive solution design decisions (KDDs) ensuring alignment with global template, clean core, and S/4 best practices; 
  • Act as primary interface between business stakeholders and project team, ensuring clarity and alignment; 
  • Manage and mentor consultants, ensuring quality of deliverables and team development; 
  • Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and challenge business requirements to promote standardization; 
  • Ensure end-to-end integration design with other modules (FI, CO, EWM, TM, etc.) and external systems; 
  • Oversee creation and review of functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test artifacts; 
  • Ensure high-quality solution delivery, including governance on customizing, extensions, and integrations; 
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution; 
  • Support cutover planning and execution, ensuring business readiness; 
  • Drive client relationship management, acting as trusted advisor in procurement transformation initiatives; 
  • Contribute to pre-sales, estimations, and proposal development where required; 
  • Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and automation opportunities across processes.
