Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

• You are enrolled in studies of mathematics/economics/computer science (bachelor's or master's studies) and have the capacity and willingness to work at least 25 hours per week besides your studies

• You are interested in data analytics and statistical modelling

• You are interested in learning more about the application of statistics in financial industry in accordance with regulatory framework at Deloitte Advisory, with the potential to join one of our expanding teams

• You have a structured way of thinking and an organized personality with high attention to details

• You have a passion for learning and enjoy working in a team and on project tasks

• You have an interest in banking and risk management

• You have very good writing and presentation skills including advanced English knowledge

• You are up for a challenge and become part of the largest professional services firm in the world

Your future role

• Work as a part of our Risk Advisory team on projects with some of the leading companies in Croatia and the region

• Understand the scope and the goals of the projects

• Get an understanding and further develop in the field of financial regulations and risk management, especially in the quantitative domain such as:

o Model development: Developing Credit Risk Models, Data Collection & Preparation, Model Calibration

o Model Validation & Testing: back testing, stress testing, validation statistical tests

o Risk Assessment & Analysis: Assess Credit Exposure, Credit Scoring, Segmentation

o Data Analysis and Reporting Tools: Data Visualization, Data Analysis, using reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Python) to generate risk reports

• Support the Risk advisory team with research, analysis, preparation of presentations

• Report to team leaders on the results of the work

About the team

Advisory Intern will work in an international team focusing on various areas of risk management within a fast-paced environment and will be exposed to numerous projects in the risk and modeling space.
