Who we are looking for
🟢We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at the staff or senior staff level. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the CE Talent dashboard while effectively understanding and interpreting the needs communicated by our HR team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful HR analytics and decision-making processes. 

Required professional background and skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • HR background is not a requirement for this role.
Technical skills:
  • Power BI Proficiency, data analysis and visualization:
    • Expertise in building interactive and visually compelling reports.
    • Ability to configure and optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
    • Skilled in using Power BI visuals to convey complex data insights effectively.
    • Ability to use custom visuals and templates for specific reporting needs.
  • DAX
    • Proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculated columns, measures, and tables.
    • Ability to write complex DAX queries to manipulate and derive new information from existing datasets.
  • Power Query:
    • Expertise in using Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL processes).
    • Ability to clean and prepare data for analysis through query editor transformations.
  • Data Modeling:
    • Strong data-modeling skills to design efficient schema for relational databases using Power BI.
    • Ability to craft and optimize data models to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.
  • SQL Knowledge:
    • Proficient in writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases to be used in Power BI.
  • Integration Skills:
    • Experience in integrating Power BI with other data sources and systems, such as Excel, Azure, and SQL Server.
    • Familiarity with REST APIs and Power BI APIs for advanced integration.

Your future role
Power BI Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to HR needs, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy.
  • Implement measures to ensure data security and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Data Integration and Modeling:
  • Extract, transform, and load HR data from various sources into Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain data models that support advanced HR analytics and reporting.
Collaboration with HR Teams:
  • Provide training or assistance to HR team members in utilizing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Performance Optimization:
  • Optimize Power BI report performance, ensuring fast and responsive access to HR data.
  • Regularly review and refine data retrieval processes to improve efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Provide technical support for HR teams in resolving issues related to Power BI applications and data connectivity.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust data connections and queries to prevent issues and ensure smooth operation.
