At Deloitte Digital, we help organisations improve their content operations and visibility across search engines, AI-generated answers and emerging agentic experiences. We combine content strategy, AI experimentation and technology to solve practical business problems.

We are looking for a curious and proactive person who wants to develop at the intersection of content, business and technology. This is an entry-level role, so we do not expect you to arrive with deep expertise. We care about how you think, learn, take responsibility and turn ideas into practical outcomes.

This opportunity may be a good fit if you enjoy exploring unfamiliar topics, testing new tools and using data to understand how content creates business value.

What you should bring:

  • Curiosity and business thinking:
    • Interest in SEO and optimising content for AI-powered search, including AEO and GEO
    • Strong analytical thinking and an interest in assessing content through data, user needs and business value
    • Ability to understand the fundamentals of an unfamiliar topic quickly, including areas outside your current field of study or experience
    • Curiosity about how business, technology and people come together to solve customer problems
    • A habit of following relevant industry developments, technology releases and changes in digital behaviour
  • Learning and adaptability:
    • Openness to learning concepts, tools and ways of working that may be new to you
    • Ability to adapt when priorities, technologies or project requirements change
    • Confidence managing several tasks and organising your work effectively
    • Willingness to take ownership of assigned work and operate with a high level of independence
    • Comfort working in an environment where the answer may not be clear at the beginning
  • Experimentation and practical implementation:
    • Ability to move from an initial idea to a practical implementation, experiment or simple prototype
    • Interest in testing how AI can support content creation, optimisation, discovery and management
    • Readiness to learn through hands-on experimentation, iteration and feedback
    • Ability to evaluate whether an idea or technology addresses a real business need
    • A practical approach to problem-solving, focused on outcomes rather than tools alone
  • Communication and collaboration
    • Ability to explain technical ideas in clear business language for non-technical stakeholders
    • Confidence building simple, data-supported narratives that connect a proposed solution with its potential business value
    • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with people from business, content, design, analytics and technology teams
    • English language proficiency at B2 level or above

What would make you stand out:
  • Hands-on experience with a content management system such as WordPress
  • Familiarity with analytics or search tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog
  • Experience experimenting with AI-native tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Replit, Lovable or similar platforms
  • A personal project, side project or small portfolio related to content, digital marketing, analytics, automation or web development
  • An example of something you have built, tested or improved independently
  • Experience using data to identify a content problem, recommend a change or demonstrate an outcome
  • Formal professional experience in all these areas is not required. University projects, personal experiments, voluntary work and self-directed learning are also relevant.
Your future role
The contribution you will make: 

As an AI Content Labs Intern, you will support the team in exploring how emerging technologies can improve content visibility, performance and operations.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to real client and internal initiatives while developing practical skills in SEO, AEO, GEO, content analytics and AI-enabled experimentation. Your work may include research, analysis, testing, prototype development and the preparation of clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • You will be encouraged to ask questions, test assumptions and bring forward ideas. With support from more experienced team members, you will gradually take ownership of defined tasks and smaller workstreams.

Your future role:

As an AI Content Labs Intern, you will:
  • Research developments in AI, search, content technology and digital customer behaviour
  • Support projects focused on SEO, AEO, GEO and AI-driven content discovery
  • Analyse content and performance data to identify patterns, gaps and opportunities
  • Help evaluate tools and technologies against specific user and business needs
  • Contribute to prototypes, workflows, automations and proof-of-concept solutions
  • Test ideas, document findings and translate results into practical recommendations
  • Prepare clear materials for clients and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support workshops, working sessions and internal knowledge-sharing activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues across content, business, analytics, design and technology
  • Contribute ideas and experiments that help develop the AI Content Labs practice
