We are called in to advise high-profile clients on executing deals in Mergers and Acquisitions, perform business valuations, participate in disputes and support growing businesses. We do not just provide financial advice to our clients, but we also deliver comprehensive financial solutions to some of the toughest issues in business today. For our Financial Advisory team, we are looking for an Associate who will work with other junior colleagues and support senior members of the team in assisting our clients with such tasks.

Qualifications

• Business related university degree in Finance, Analysis and Business Planning, Accounting, Economics, Management or similar,

• 0 – 3 years of experience in financial advisory / corporate finance / banking or related industry,

• Understanding of key accounting and corporate finance principles,

• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint,

• Responsibility, motivation, eagerness to learn and a can-do attitude,

• Strong drive to excel and grow professionally,

• Analytical and critical thinking to solve complex problems,

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

• Proficiency in Slovene and English,

• Enrollment in certifications such as CFA or ACCA is considered an advantage.

As an Associate in Financial Advisory team, you will:

• Assist in financial data analysis to deliver business valuations, financial models, business plans, M&A transaction materials, provide debt advisory services and support in capital raising and other related corporate finance services,

• Develop business understanding and experience by working on complex projects in a wide range of industries for a variety of clients, while having the opportunity to participate in discussion with top executives and shareholders,

• Support senior colleagues in day-to-day activities, including business development, market research, various initiatives and ad-hoc tasks,

• Deliver projects collaborating with international colleagues from Deloitte CE South.
