As a Functional Consultant (SAP S/4HANA, FI) you will act as a consultant first, data specialist second. You will connect business questions with the right data, help teams understand how S/4HANA Finance behaves, and design reports that drive decisions. You will play a key role in realizing value from our clients’ S/4 implementation by supporting customized solutions and delivering actionable insights that empower EU institutions to meet their strategic goals.

🎯 What we expect from you:

Must-have

  • 2+ years in BI/analytics or finance systems/consulting
  • hands-on with Web Intelligence, building reports, filters/prompts.
  • curiosity and openness, comfort with ambiguity, structured problem-solving, crisp communication and stakeholder handling, teamwork, clear and concise documentation.
  • understanding of core finance processes. Working understanding of R2R / P2P / O2C cycles and how they surface in ERP
  • you demonstrate an interest in the European Union and their Institutions and want to take part in their further development.
  • strong English; confident in international, client-facing settings.
  • ideally in Economic / Finance studies.
  • occasionally, for client projects and team collaboration

Nice-have

  • SAP S/4HANA: practical understanding of finance, hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO).
  • Data & SQL: operational SQL (joins, filters, aggregates); basic performance awareness; attention to data quality.
  • Data modeling fundamentals: simple semantic models, clear dimensions/measures, tidy naming conventions and governance.


Your future role
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team. If you have a passion for finance and technology and are eager to expand your skills, we are here to support you. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in dashboard creation in Power BI or if you need to brush up on your finance or accounting knowledge; we will provide the necessary training to help you excel!

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in industry, business, and technology
  • Hands-on experience in finance or accounting (e.g., P2P, R2R), covering tools such as SAP
  • Skilled in data management (SQL) or Business Intelligence
  • You have been actively involved in transformation and / or project delivery work
  • You feel comfortable in client-facing roles, presenting ideas, and verifying needs
  • You demonstrate an interest in the European Union and their Institutions and want to take part in their further development
  • You want to work in international, dynamic environment and are willing to travel occasionally to Brussels for client meetings
  • Fluent in English, with a completed Master's degree
  • You are passionate about deep diving the processes and gaining expertise
